I rue the day.

About Me

I think in only the spoken word.

My Interests

In general, my days start with a full report. I'm usually not prepared for it. Shortly, the Hand Washing Parade begins. I have my first banana at about 9:30, and finish my first coffee by 10. Then, everybody starts parrotting around about "what's for lunch?". Soon, the luch arrangements are made. I try to eat my lunch alone, but am often followed. After that, I get sick of the radio and put on a cd in the hopes that it will repel the trenchers as they make their Hand Washing Parade. Everybody stops pretending to work around 5, but I usually keep busy right until 6, then pack up and go home.
Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

I'd like to meet:

Musicians, especially bass players. People who know their history. People who can read a 700 page book.

Movies:

are those, like, 'talkies'?

Television:

the shopping channel. oh, how i love the shopping channel.

Books:

My relationship with books is almost lifelong. I have owned many, many books. At a point in my life, I gave all of them away. Now, I have many around me, and I read them one at a time. Right now, I'm reading "Nickel And Dimed", by Barbara Ehrenreich. Her maiden name is Alexander, which is directly from Kentucky. Or so she says.

Heroes:

ha! heroes..here's Satchmo, who's more interesting than pretty much most everybody. Too bad he passed away.

My Blog

obama right, mccain wrong

here's one of the many, many youtube videos slathering the web with self-righteous indignation.  i don't think any of this is any good, but here's one for the gipper: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xG...
