My Interests

Film, (as in cinema, not any residue's found in washbasins or coffee-cups), music, writing, cooking, comics, shoe's that look like fairground rides, big bang theory, small bang theory, hardly a bang more of a whimper theory, robotics and real ale (but never on the same evening).

I'd like to meet:

Iggy Pop, David Lynch, Morrissey, Karen O, George A Romero (actually I have met him, can he stay on the list?), Brian Sewel, James Ellroy, Kylie Minogue, the plumber who promised he'd be round three weeks ago and Robby the Robot.

Music:

Basically white boys with guitars, but they don't have to be white, boys or have guitars for that matter. Some examples include: Tom Waits, Iggy Pop, The Stooges, The Smiths, Velvet Underground, Big Star/Alex Chiltern, The Replacements, Thin White Rope, Prince, Johnny Cash, Lou Reed, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Sinatra, Gorilaz, Blur, Beatles, Chili Peppers, Muse, Radiohead, Neil Young, Tom Lehrer, Bob Dylan (early stuff, sorry!), Elvis Presley, Elvis Costello, Ramones, Pixies, The Strokes, Cramps and Whale.

Movies:

Anything by kubrick, anything by David Lynch, almost anything by Scorsese, almost nothing by Joel schumacher, Some Like it Hot, The Apartment, Forbidden Planet, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Fight Club, Planet of the Apes (the original), Godfather 1 and 2, Memento, Romero's Zombie movies, Rumble Fish, The Virgin Spring (surprisingly, not a porno movie), Strangers in Paradise, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Twelve Monkeys, The Dollars' movies, Shine, But I'm a Cheerleader (also surprisingly not a porno movie), Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Dusk Till Dawn, Blade Runner, Gladiator, The Seven Samurai, Yojimbo, Airplane, Barberella Good Night Good Luck

Television:

Don't really watch TV these days, usually catch stuff on DVD, including: Twin Peaks, The Outer limits, Sgt Bilko, The Simpsons, Futurama, Top Cat, the odd cookery programme and science documentary.

Books:

Ellroy, Bill Bryson, Steven Hawking, Jerome K. Jerome and the Complete Guide to Home Plumbing.

Heroes:

Bill Hicks, Alex Toth, Iggy Pop, Bridgette Bardot (for being beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside), Steven Hawking, my Dad, David Lynch, Bender the robot, Robby the Robot and that bleedin plumber if he decides to turn up.
