Scott Atkins DRUMMER / ARTIST RELATIONS

Drumming since I was 11 years old. Born in the Ottawa Valley, Now living in Montreal, Quebec as an avid roller coaster fanatic, freelance drummer, recording and performing solo projects and with the Chris Mulligan Band in Ontario, teaching at percussion camps, clinics and workshops. Working as an artist relations & product manager for SONOR DRUMS, JAM Industries. Drumming influences include Stewart Copland, Steve Gadd, Steve Smith, Jojo Mayer, Benny Greb, Gavin Harrison, Davide DiRenzo, Tommy Igoe & David Garibaldi. Playing Sonor S-Class Pro Maple Drums,Sabian Hand Hammered Series Cymbals, Vic Firth Drumsticks, Roland V-Drums and Giant Step pedals.The drum tracks for the songs currently posted in the player were recorded live from my basement studio using Roland V-Drums, Lexicon LAMBDA, and Cubase SX-3 Software for the first three ttracks, and Sonor S-Class Drums, Prseonus Preamps, Samson Mics and Cubase LE4 for the BullHorn 6.
