About Me

There is nothing better for me than looking out of the booth over a writhing sea of sweaty, screaming people having the time of thier lives. As a DJ, the new sound is the best sound, but I know that integrating it with the familiar is the key for a good time. I have run Ceremony for the last 11 years and enjoyed residency at Manray for a bit longer than that. You'll see me spin at other Goth/Industrial and Fetish events around Boston and New England, but my heart belongs to Ceremony, which is still the best time to be had around here.
I like my Industrial hard, my EBM Oontsy and my IDM glitchy. While I have a difficult time explaining what "type" of music I play, I like knowing that my sound is unique. I strive to blend different genres together that you wouldn't normally hear, a contrast that can seriously turn up the energy of a room.
I have an uncompromisingly optimistic view of life and almost nothing rattles my cage. My goal is to better the quality of the events, DJs and music in New England, knowing that if the bar is raised, I'll have to be better as well.

This mix was created with a Denon 2600f CD deck and a Denon DN-X800 mixer.

My Interests

DJing, motorcycles, Idustrial music, IDM, promoting, martinis, looking nice, reptiles, robots, Japanese surrealist horror films, popcorn, a nice pen.

I'd like to meet:

Other DJs, promoters, people and bands that can offer something different and interesting.

Music:

Inustrial, EBM, IDM, electro, D&B, futurepop, breaks, house, metal, various forms of rock, punk, etc. I think of any music in one of two ways, good or bad. I like the good kind. Damnit if I don't just hate the hell out of Country though.

Movies:

Mostly, movies that don't suck. Ginger snaps trilogy, alien series, last temptation of christ, better off dead (obviously!), ravenous, fire walk with me, actually, every david lynch film, even eraser head that i've seen like ten times and swear i won't ever watch again every time i frickin watch it, tomie films, enemy at the gate, sheepless in montana, legend of drunken master (i can totally relate), shaolin soccer, frankenhooker, zero effect, showdown at the sunset ranch (who knows where i can get this on dvd?), eternal sunshine of the spotless mind (almost forgot that one), every tim berton film except planet of the apes, i could go on, but, you know... whatever.

Television:

I hate tv. I really only watch Discovery, the history channel ans the odd re-run of CSI (Vegas).

Heroes:

Ceremony tonight

Holy crap, I'm fucking deaf. Addam and I were totally in our own world tonight, with the distinct exception of "I saw God on TV" clearing the floor (that's Scandy, clearing the floor at Ceremony ?!?!)...

Sin-O-Matic

Holy crap. Last night was fantastically fun. I have to admit, the attendance was a bit better than I thought it would be, due to the mercilessly cold wind that was blowing outside, but they came out ...
