Appearances can often be decieving, a fact that we are all getting used to in this so-called information age. Identities that have become more blurred, have become relative, and arbitrary. It is not always clear who is a women or a man, a gay or straight, rich or poor, or whatever standard of value is being projected. We live in a world where those things don't matter as much. This presents a wonderful opportunity to know people you might not have met otherwise. Since the record of humanity began, people are judged, racialized, sexualized, and otherwise stereotyped in order to form opinions, which often segregate us from one another. Let us not make value judgements about a person's character until a series of observations have been made, not just snappy judgements. Let us get to know one another, peel each layer, one by one, with an open mind.
My work as an author:
Since my graduation and recent travels in the States, Central America, and Europe, and having moved from Santa Barbara to San Diego, my REAL work has begun. There are things under develpment that I feel are interesting to many of you (my friends and prospect ones), so keep in touch to see how you can become involved. You will be invited to join in activities that promote social and physical earth awareness, my dream. If I can accept that it may not be possible to change people to behave a certain way, then you can return the favor and consider that it might be possible for things to be another way. Take a moment and consider or imagine beyond the immediacy, and consider that you may be able to escape it, escape it further than this moment of thought, and into another realm.
