About Me

Myspace Graphics
Myspace Layouts Welcome to my page. I'm Anglo-Irish (Yorkshire and Donegal blood), 38 years old and have one daughter, Shannon, who's twelve. I run the official discussion forums for bestselling, award-winning authors John Connolly and Mark Billingham. I'm a published writer and I do a little bit of book reviewing too. I've helped judge national literary awards - something I always enjoy doing. I'm also a partner in an office furniture business. I'm very interested in property investing - it's my number one goal - and hope to be in a position to buy a second home sometime soon. I'm currently training to be a hypnotherapist and a proofreader, and I'm also studying palmistry. Thanks for visiting!

My Interests

Reading, writing, the paranormal, listening to music, travelling and watching most sports (especially football, F1, boxing, cricket and rugby). I'm also very interested in investing and enjoy the odd dabble on the stock market. I love football, as I've already mentioned, and support Leeds United and the Republic of Ireland.

I'd like to meet:

Eddie Irvine and his boat...

Music:

Varies so much. I enjoy most chart stuff, as well as older sounds. I love U2 and Snow Patrol - those two bands are definitely my favourites. And Westlife - musn't forget them! Oh, and James Morrison, Damien Rice, Killers, Kaiser Chiefs.

Movies:

Angela's Ashes, The Commitments, The Wind That Shakes The Barley, Michael Collins, Veronica Guerin, In The Name Of The Father.

Television:

I love watching sport and documentaries.

Books:

Anything by John Connolly and Mark Billingham. I love reading crime fiction - other favourite authors include Harlan Coben, Lee Child, Alex Barclay, Mo Hayder, Jeffrey Deaver, John Rickards, Stuart MacBride, Carole Matthews, Marian Keyes, Cathy Kelly, Jodi Picoult. It would probably be easier - and quicker - to say whose books I don't enjoy! I also like sports autobiographies/biographies. Eddie Irvine's books were brilliant, as was Roy Keane's, Niall Quinn's and Paul McGrath's.

Heroes:

The late George Best, Martin O'Neill, Norman Whiteside, Paul McGrath, Robbie Keane and Eddie Irvine. Not forgetting my gorgeous daughter Shannon.
