I created my own profile using Crash and you should too!White Men Can Jump! is a feature length documentary about the life and journey of Eddie Kidd, ‘The Black Knight’ ….. a forgotten British hero. Narrated by Ray Winstone and featuring interviews with some of the world's biggest stars.
World Record Holder and Daredevil Stuntman, Eddie Kidd, was a legend to many, a sex symbol to thousands of women, an inspiration to millions of fans, a loving father with a heart of gold and double to Hollywood stars including Pierce Brosnan, Michael Caine, Roger Moore, Michael Douglas and Harrison Ford to name but a few.
He was on top of his game and on top of the world.
Tragically, on August 11th 1996, at the Hells Angel’s Bulldog Bash, Eddie had an horrific crash leaving him unconscious and close to the brink of death. Doctors battled to save him after he flat-lined twice but then he slipped into a deep coma.
In truth the Doctors didn’t know when or whether he would come round. 3 months passed and with his devoted family by his side…
...Eddie miraculously regained consciousness.
This documentary follows his everyday challenges and his perseverance through rehab as he battles to recover from the brain damage which left him unable to walk & unable to talk.
‘White Men Can Jump’ covers the highs and lows, the stunts, the films, the women, his friends, his ambition to walk again and his return to the world of movies, where he will be co-ordinating the stunts on the very film that he was to star in before his tragic accident.
Eddie Kidd is a living legend, and his story is about determination and courage and his overwhelming wish to get back on his feet, with the ultimate goal walking his daughter Candie, down the aisle.
