About Me

November 10th, 2007
We know it might seem like we’re dead over here, but we’re just on a little break. I can’t say it’s entirely our fault either. The both of us might be in school full-time and each work part-time, but what we’ve been given has a lot to do with it too. The part of our music scene that we believe in and want to support by having these shows is nothing like it was at the beginning of this year. Bands are dropping like flies, and those that are left, either aren’t doing what we believe in or aren’t reliable enough to play a show. I can’t say we’ll do a show in January or not. It all depends on how far the church is with its construction and if we can find five bands that we’d even want to play the show. It’s so hard to pour so much time into one of our shows and then watch it fall apart like our last one did. We hate to be bitter, maybe it’s just the cold weather and we’ll be fine once spring rolls around. Either way, we’ll let you know what’s going on and we can’t thank all of you enough that came out to the three shows we had this summer. Those were some of the best nights of both mine and Alison’s lives. We’ll talk to you guys soon.
Anthony + Alison
This might not seem like anything yet, but we’re hoping it can turn into something great. Crash The Shore Booking is run by me, Anthony, and my girlfriend, Alison. We put on shows exclusively at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Park Ridge. For this to be as big and as great as it can be, we need each and every one of you to help spread the word. Let us know if you’re in a band, know someone who is, or just want to help with getting a show together. We started this because we’re tired of $10 shows and venues who don’t care about the music, but rather their cut from the door. We’re not in this for the money, we’re here to put on shows for you. We miss how it used to be, and that’s why we’re here to change that. So leave a comment, tell someone about us, toss our banner on your page, and definitely come check out one of our shows. We promise, we won’t let you down.
