Melody Castellari,cantante e produttrice. Figlia d’arte:il papà (Corrado Castellari ) è autore di musiche per Fabrizio de André,Mina,Milva,Ornella Vanoni,Iva Zanicchi e molti altri artisti;mentre la mamma (Liana Piras) è a sua volta cantante e ha lavorato negli anni ’70-’80 con Il gruppo corale dei “Musical” partecipando alla registrazione dei dischi di numerosi e importanti interpreti. Melody inizia la sua carriera da bambina,interpretando le sigle di alcuni cartoni animati degli anni ‘80.A 15 anni inizia a lavorare come corista e a dedicarsi,oltre alla carriera solista con propri brani indediti,alla musica dance,prestando la voce per numerose produzioni di successo (A.D.A.M. “Zombie”,D.E.A.R. “Talk to Me”, LADY VIOLET “Inside to Outside” ecc.).Da qualche anno riveste anche il ruolo di produttrice oltre che interprete nello stesso ambito. Corista per vari artisti Italiani ed internazionali (Elio e le Storie Tese,Brazilian Love Affair,Nick the Nightfly,Fiordaliso,Flubby,Time Machine ecc.) Alterna il lavoro in studio di registrazione ad esibizioni live con la sua rock-band (MELODY SQUAD) che la portano ad affiancare “Elisa” nel tour successivo alla sua vittoria a San Remo con “Luce”. Lo stesso anno Melody pubblica un cd singolo dal titolo “Vai” per la Sony Epic. Nel 2002 partecipa nel ruolo della principessa “Nefertari” al musical colossal “I Dieci Comandamenti” prodotto da Guido e Maurizio De Angelis. Il 4 agosto di quest’anno ha eseguito a Castel Gandolfo per il Papa la “Messa Humilis” in memoria di Giovanni Paolo secondo. Ha inoltre recentemente pubblicato il suo ultimo lavoro discografico in inglese dal titolo “Big Bag”.
Melody, singer and producer. She started her career when she was just 15 playing with her first rock band and producing and singing dance music (many hits of these latest years bears her signature). She has made also the background vocals of many Italian artists. She's the leader of the band "Melody Squad" since 2001. They have published in the same year a single cd with Sony Music "Vai", and have been the supporters for some concerts of the Italian singer Elisa. In 2003 she has been one of the protagonists of the musical colossal "I dieci Comandamenti" in the role of princess Nefertari. In 2005 she sang for the pope Ratzinger. Recentely Melody Squad have published an Ep "Big Bag" containing 5 songs and they've made 2 videos from the same work.
