and pop e tutto ciò che ruota attorno a musicisti e strumenti veri, ma con un’ottima integrazione con la programmazione midi e l’audio digitale
Lo studio si compone di una regia con monitor Genelec 1031+Yamaha NS10, Mac G5 con vari softwares (Logic Studio, Cubase SX, etc. svariati plugins) una bella sezione di outboard analogico (SSL g383, Brunetti PAR400, Avalon 737, Presonus Digimax, Dbx 166), e una valida collezione di microfoni (Neumann, Akg, Sennheiser, Groove Tubes, Oktava, Røde, Shure).
La sala ripresa è trattata per ottenere un suono vivo ma al tempo stesso controllabile, con due pareti assorbenti di legno e sughero e due riflettenti con pietra naturale.
A disposizione anche una bel set di chitarre e bassi (Gibson, Fender, G&L, etc.) alcune tastiere vintage e, a richiesta, un bellissimo pianoforte a coda Baldwin del 1925.
Abbiamo avuto il piacere di lavorare e collaborare con Davide van De Sfroos, Bullfrog, Cherry Lips, Methodica, Shivaprem..etc

Opal Arts Studio is a newly built, small facility with
an excellent value for money ratio, dedicated to the
production, recording, mixing of
progressive rock, metal progressive, heavy metal, rock
and pop projects. It offers not only a true expertise
in real instruments and performance-based recordings,
but a perfect integration with programming as well.
The studio is built around a recording room and a
control room. The recording room is treated to achieve
a live (but fully controllable) sound, with two
absorbing sides (with dedicated panels in wood and
cork) and two reflective sides (with natural stone).
The control room is equipped with Genelec 1031+Yamaha
NS10 monitoring. The hard disk recording system is
based on a Mac G5, running all of the common DAWs
(Logic Studio, Cubase 4, Pro Tools LE etc.) along
with a huge array of plug-ins and software
instruments. The studio has a nice selection of analog
outboard (SSL g383, Brunetti PAR400, Avalon 737,
Presonus Digimax, Dbx 166), and a great mic drawer
(Neumann, Akg, Sennheiser, Groove Tubes, Oktava, Røde
and Shure). A nice set of guitars and basses (Gibson,
Fender, G&L, etc.) is available too, along with
vintage keyboards and, upon request, a newly restored,
wonderful 1925 Baldwin coda piano. The evergrowing
list of artists we have worked, and work with,
features among the others Davide van De Sfroos,
Bullfrog, Cherry Lips, Methodica and Shivaprem.
