Squidly foxx was born in kingston jamaica.he grew up in waltham park where he attended campion high.he always loved music and his interest in selecting began while hanging out at winners club which his mother managed.squidly says "I would go there everyday and be there when the sound was stringing up.I began to observe and ask questions until they finally gave me a play. It was at age 11 he started his own sound ghetto prince with his cousin father cc.while ghetto prince became highly rated in the waltham area squidly migrated to the us and carried on the legacy in boston.in 1994 he moved to nj and decided to start a new sound.this was rough because he was new in town but then he met shadow and he told squidly about a little sound he was building and offered him a spot.the rest is history.the sound was called tornado.the original members were turbo shadow platinum chicken bugzy bam bam and squidly.tornado began to make its mark by being a dual threat sound. Being able to juggle as well as clash.but clashing is where squidly earned his stripes.his confiemed kills twin tower diamond mvmts desperado nemesis and many others.its after his last 2 clash dances one win over unity and king pieces in parish rumble and one loss in 45 shootout05 he became tired and wanted to walk away.however the love of the people kept him in the game he now says"I'm a juggling selector I'm done wid the clash thing but if I have 2 I will any boy waan clash mek dem gwaan me will juggle and please the ladies.and that has been his new mentality he now has restablished himself as one of njs top selectors.for the upcoming year tornado has big things on the horizon and squidly is set to unveil another sound.
