Some may misunderstand my humble confidence as some twisted arrogance or conceitedness, LOL rite?!?! I am far from being caught all on myself, however, I LOVE MYSELF, therefore,since I've been loving me everyday has been a better day, Since been loving me all my pain has gone away YA BETTER KNO! cuz in order for anyone to love you, you must first love God the Father and yourself, staying true to what you believe and what is right. No one's perfect and I must admit that I've made mistakes in my life (havent we all?!?!), but I'm not the kind to cease, settle and allow anyone to violate, disrespect and undermine my character, HENCE, I must uphold my faith and live a life in favor of the eyes of my God, and while I am here He will guide me through with blessings all along the way. Don't mistake my assertiveness as if I always want my way, I simply know what I want my Father gives me what I deserve! ~clean heart I say, dem cant stop me from STRIFE!~ The future is looking so bright, I have goals and plans ahead of my years and peers. My support system strengthens & motivates me to exceed boundaries I couldnt have pursued alone, for that, I give thanx to God for my family, friends (jus like family), the ability to love everyone even those that hate me (we have to strive for greater cause), the opportunity to experience happiness (whether it's temporary or permanent) with an increasing knowledge of what's real to attain permanence, lastly, the courage and strength to accept my faults with grace to pursue a change for better not worse or stagnance. I am not perfect, I am just ME, not another is like me cuz no two are the same. God IS good all the time all the time God IS good~ Black women are natural survivors, natural caregivers strong as we may be; when we need we fail to show it. We have to take care of home first before we can tackle the world. Around are girls some of us put on a front telling our sistas what we wont do in bed, what we wont put up with, and how we have it like that? Those are the same women on the Ricki Lake show telling the world how their man never does anything, how he cheats, and beats on them Lets respect ourselves enough not to allow a man who is not worthy of our love; bring us down to where we live through him. Educate our babies give them something they can take and show the universe. Mothers, daughters, lovers, friends, the essence of our being are constantly challenged because of our gender and our race. If we do not love us, take care of us, respect us, and take GOD where-ever we go.Our journey in this world will become harder. We get on the men about keeping it realAre we Keeping It Real or Are Most of Us Still Living In Fantasy Land ????
