I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I have an avid interest in Movies, Music, and Theatre, and I play guitar and piano and write songs and such. I once backflipped over the caesar's pizza down the street from where you live. Now that all the bandages are healing me I just backflip over sofas.NOW listen to audio wonder (my "album"):http://www.last.fm/music/Steve+McCrary/Leaf+Forgery

My Interests

I play guitar and piano, songwrite, play video games, hang out, kill zombies, prevent intergalactic wars, close interdimensional portals to "The Bad Place", balance my checkbook, fight rampaging octopi, and read. Also on thursdays I'm a frog.

I'd like to meet:

Robert Pollard, Pete Townshend, Tobin Sprout, Ray and/or Dave Davies, Millard Fillmore, Aaron Burr, A.C. Newman... and Hitler. For some reason I've always had some sort of fascination with Nazis and the occult. Maybe it's from watching Indiana Jones at such a young age. Seeing Nazis quest after highly powerful religious artifacts probably makes an impression of some sort. This guy is great too, but I've already met him:

Music:

Guided By Voices, The Shins, Spoon, Manic Street Preachers, The Byrds, The Zombies, The Arcade Fire, The Apples in Stereo, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Kinks, The Who, Built to Spill, The Shazam, Belle & Sebastian, Eels, Flaming Lips, Beulah, The Velvet Underground, Talking Heads, The Grifters, Meat Puppets, and The New Pornographers.

Movies:

Citizen Kane, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Full Metal Jacket, Blade Runner, anything by Hitchcock, good fantasy films (a la Excalibur, LOTR trilogy, Legend... and Conan the Barbarian. Yeah, it's not that great of a movie, but it satisfies my testosterone levels), Superman (the Richard Donner masterpiece), Batman Begins (The Christopher Nolan masterpiece), Ghostbusters, and The Kids are Alright (documovie about the Who).

Television:

Adult Swim isn't really funny anymore, and the history channel is always talking about hitler and WW2. I rarely watch tv these days.

Books:

"Imperial Hubris" by Micheal Schueur. "A Song of Ice and Fire" series by George R.R. Martin, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Most books by Aldous Huxley. Anything by Poe. Tons of others, as well.

Heroes:

My father, Jim Henson, and Mr. Rogers. And that one guy from M.A.S.H., y'know? that guy?

My Blog

Theres a soooong playin on the radio...

Well, I now have a new job at an art gallery, which is awesome. Most of my day is spent photographing paintings and doing inventory control. For ten bucks an hour, it ain't bad. I've been updating thi...

This is all kinds of twisted.

I really have nothing to say about this, except to say that it's one of the most bizarre and disgusting things I've ever seen.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/max-blumenthal/rapture-re ady-the-unauth_b_57...
