New pop/soul song 'Love Another Day'

About Me

I am a published songwriter based in Birmingham, UK. I have recorded music since the age of 14, being self-taught on piano, bass and guitar. The 90s saw me perform with several guitar-based bands, most notably ‘Holy City’, touring the college and university circuit and releasing the well-received debut, ‘Old Bill and Bull’ in 1997, an album on which I received 19 writing credits.I have also undertaken commissions for instrumentals for broadcast, including providing the score for a London production of the Shakespeare tragedy ‘Titus Andronicus’.More recently I have been working alongside Matthew J. Bliss in the collaboration, ‘Material Project’ (www.myspace.com/materialproject and www.materialproject.co.uk), putting out our first collection ‘Immersed’ in 2005 on our own label Exit Recording. A follow-up, ‘Dokumenta’ is freshly mastered and scheduled for release later this year (2008).The focus is very clearly on quality, contemporary songs with a credible and eclectic pop/rock approach to production and arrangement. My current drive is to place songs in the market, both with established and emerging artists, and make available instrumental tracks for use in multi-media. With this aim in mind I am continuing to expand my catalogue with new material becoming available for license during 2008.
