I am here for Friends

About Me

I am one with our Mother Goddess...she has many manifestations, just look around you and you will see Her. To be in-tune with Nature is a good thing; she needs us now as does Her Consort, the Horned One, as do we need them. Love, not hate, rules the cycle of life. Keep the balance and partake--don't be a bystander, for we can can cause change to occur! Magick is alive!!! And we are Her children that keep the Year Wheel in motion. Powerful magickal recipe: 1 part Love & 2 parts Gratitude. Practice this and you will be amazed with the results. I am an artist: photography, painting, various paper art, drawing, mixed medium, jewelry. I also thoroughly enjoy making aromatherapy & herbal concoctions for healing & magickal purposes for family, friends, & personal orders. An ex Thrift Queen have tamed down a bit, but it's still in my blood :-) husband keeps me in check hehe.

My Interests

My family is number 1!!! My husband and child are AMAZING people; I love them with all my heart and soul. I am one of "the fortunate ones" to be with my one true love--the one whom I have shared many lives with--through infested waters & purified springs--we've shared it all, baby! If you don't believe me, just ask him! Life experiences makes one strong. I LOVE music of all kinds; although I really don't dig rap or new country. Wish I would've gone to school to become a DJ; guess there's always 'next time 'round'! Instead I chose to be a "Bohemian Artist". ha! Need to discipline myself with learning to play my lil' dulcimer, too. My favorite art styles are Pre-Raphaelite, Art Nouveau, and Dadaism. I am also partial to artists Aubrey Beardsley, E. Gorey, Edmund Dulac, Max Ernst, Man Ray, John Jess, Andy Warhol, Dave McKean, Diane Arbus, Cindy Sherman, Gustuv Klimt, Botticelli, and Bosch. Durer's woodcuts are incredible, too. I am passionate about teaching. I wish more parents would discourage their children from using the words, "I'm bored!"--in our household, and in any class I teach, those words are forbidden--there is sooooo much to learn and discover each and every day, how can ANYONE say, "I'm bored"?!
