At a ripe age, this young Latina from South San Francisco has been ready to pursue her dream of being a recording artist for years. Prior to her debut single, she was in a group called Alma De Mexico, where she was already showcasing her talent to the general public. It was while singing at a friend's party that she was approached to audition for producers, DJ Raj and DJ Chill. Before she knew it, Rosalinda was in the studio recording her first single.
Once released, “Give Me All Your Love†began creating a street buzz which led College radio jock Delicious D to pick up a copy to play on his show. D later said, "As long as I've been doing this, I've never seen the phones light up the way they did for that record, not even with any big name artists." The single also caught the ear of Wild 94.9 Music Director, DJ Jazzy Jim who immediately introduced the song to the bay area on his 5o'clock mix show. Within weeks, the song was being heard on radio stations across the country from Hawaii to New York. Her debut album features a broad spectrum of dance music. With a strong Freestyle base, many will enjoy from "Hypnotized," "Goodbye," to the remake of Segment 12's "Let's Find A Way," the Merengue-House mover "Bailar Conmigo," and the destined to be Club anthem "Fly Away." There is even a ballad on which Rosalinda penned the lyrics herself. The album definitely sets ground and portraits the talent and power of Rosalinda's voice. Her diversity comes from many of her musical inspirations from Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Vicente Fernandez, Ozomatli to M:G, Sonique, Lauryn Hill, Santana, and Stevie B.
The San Francisco Bay Area has also foreseen the rise of many talented artists from such talented dance divas as Jocelyn Enriquez, Angelina, Pinay to One Voice. Rosalinda is one of the newest young artist who is on the rise and poised to make her own mark. With her hit debut single, "Give Me All Your Love" under her belt, her much anticipated album "Feel the Love", has been getting rave reviews from the industry and music lovers alike.San Francisco music producer DJ Raj(Rajeev Prasad) does it once again with Rosalinda's hit single "Give me all your love". This was a dance hit in the Bay Area clubs and got a bit of radio play when released. It was a big hit on San Jose State's college radio station. Unfortunately this was an under rated album because of a lack of public exposure.
DJ Raj has done work with SF Spanish Fly, Nitin Sawhney as well as many others. His work was awarded a BAMMY for the dance hit "Take Me Higher" under the guise Energy. Look forward to hearing more from Rosalinda and DJ Raj's Indipendent label Illusive Records.
