Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, J Espinosa began perfecting his craft at the age of 14 . In 2001, at the age of 17, a legendary morning show "The Doghouse", received word that J was "that next kid to blow up". After hearing this from so many, the morning show decided to give him a shot which has now evolved into his own nightly mixshow, Monday - Friday, on San Francisco's WILD 94.9. Today, J has become one of the most listened to and influential DJs that the San Francisco Bay Area has seen in quite a while.
Along with having the 1 rated mixshow in the San Francisco Bay Area, J has also taken on the role of producer who's work is featured and available on CrooklynClan.net, the top rated website for mashups in the country. One after another, each remix and party break J creates can be heard in every nightclub, mixshow and mixtape, via many other influential DJs across the country. DJs such as LAX resident Kevin Scott, The King of Crunk Lil Jon and Las Vegas heavywieght DJ Vice. In addition to his prouduction fame, J has performed with legendary artists such as Lil Wayne, Ciara, Ice Cube, T-Pain, Rihanna, E-40, Pitbull, Ludacris and Jay-Z, just to name a few.
J Espinosa keeps the dancefloors packed, radios blaring, and ears ringing every night of the week. Any style, any genre, any club, any task is simple and by far acheivable for the fact that J Espinosa's career has always been based on two things... QUALITY and SKILL, making him one of the most sought after and seasoned DJs to come out of the Bay Area.
