You live and learn. At any rate, you live.

About Me

For more shows please visit the individual bands' pages or our main website .

We are an independent record label based in Portland, OR. We are not genre-oriented and release records from a wide variety of styles including indie, punk, alternative, alt-country, and electronic. Our bands hail from Portland, Los Angeles, Chicago, Omaha, Detroit, New York, and London. Welcome, and feel free to check us out on-line at www.greydayrecords.com (or our sublabel at www.greydawnrecords.com ).

We are currently seeking interns: Unpaid (or in RARE cases, contract, depending on experience and time you can dedicate). Current needs: we're looking mostly at expanding in-house booking and PR, so if you're interested in either field, please feel free to drop us a message with the subject "Internship Info" and your interest, availability, and basic information. A plus if you are a student looking to receive course credit.

DEMO SUBMISSIONS: Thank you for your interest, we're always flattered when people want to work with us! Unfortunately, we're not currently seeking new acts, but if you're interested in submitting please get in touch with us first with some info about your band and your tour history/plans, as well as any local (Portland) dates you may be playing in the near future. If we are interested in hearing more, we'll request a link to mp3s of demos or previous releases; we'd definitely prefer you not waste your hard earned cash on putting together a physical kit, as we try to listen to them but don't often have enough time.

Influences: It's a post modern world; a better category would be "things you DON'T find influential". Which, by the definiton of the term, would still be influential. We'll need more time with this.
