Real history (not the lies you were taught in school), listening to Mckenna rap [ I know of no other person who can rap it out like Terence], reading, the use of symbolism in the media and the marble structures of the state and religions, becoming awake and conscious, particle physics and quantum mechanics (or are they the same?), the origins of evil, thinking, asking questions, talking about deep philosophical stuff, gnosticism, spirituality, growing stuff, cooking it and eating it with friends and..or family. writing and poetry [please note that I have never been to writing school - my writing flows straight from the heart], dreaming, being me, making new friends, wild windswept beaches and snow capped mountains, lakes and all things earthy, clouds, the moon, stars and all things heavenly, the sacred mushroom and its relationship to the divine I'm a bit of a romantic really.
I'd like to meet:
Dancing, singing, happy caring folks of all ages and orientation creating their own culture, Mckenna, the mushroom and the machine elves, self governing, illuminated ones and those on the path, Bugs Bunny, people without a TV(I often wonder how many of my brothers and sisters have given up this most obnoxious of legal drugs. Marshal Mcluhan was correct when he said that whoever controls the eyeballs controls the brain)
DO NOT REQUEST ME AS A FRIEND IF: You just want to spam me with advertisments for crap such as penis enlargement potions, Macy's free gifts, mobile phone ringtones etc...YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE
Tha Gremlynz - my sons Robert [vocals/guitar], Jamie - aka Mr bear[melodica/base], their friend Aaron [vocals, lyrics and looking cool...video curtesy of Shrimp [Nuisance films] aka Paul Shrimpton.
Music:
Yes I love music. My musical tastes are very wide ranging. Traditional Flamenco Guitar - so passionate - try Paco de Lucia. Classical Guitar -just beautiful and Carlos Santana for a Nouveau Flamenco sound. Check out Pendulum. (Drum and Base), Anouka Shankar, Kash Kale, One Ragga. I like Mr. Bear and Gremlynz - not just because I'm related to them - they really are good. Please take a minute to watch their first ever video over on the other side of my page. Water trickling and waves .....just waving.
Movies:
Lots of films but The Godfather trilogy has been a particular favourite...could have something to do with Al Pacino....Lord of the Rings, Loose Change, America - Freedom to Facism by Aaron Russo, Iraq For Sale, Zeitgeist The Movie, The Subversive Use of Sacred Symbolism in the Media by Michael Tsarion, Anyone who is interested in secret societies will be interested in 'The Brotherhood of the Bell' - I think you can still view it on utube, The Believer, Panic in Needle Park, Science Fiction, Bugs Bunny cartoons....None of it is true of course!
Television:
What? you mean that box in the corner of the room? - the more time we spend consuming the products of the dominator culture, which endorses and promotes ILLUSION
to keep us pacified and in trance, the more time governments (who represent elites - NOT YOU) have to take away YOUR liberties and freedoms. Marshal Mcluhan said that whoever controls the media controls the mind and the most famous quote is 'the media is the message'. Well, I believe that we need to change the media and the message by creating our own reality and our own language. We are unconsciously drifting towards armageddon and being eaten up by the Leviathan. It's time to literally 'change our minds'. WAKE UP FROM THE SLUMBER (can't anyone hear the alarms going off for gods sake) AND TAKE A LOOK OUT OF THE WINDOW - DON'T BUY IN TO THE ILLUSION - SWITCH OFF THE TV AND CREATE YOUR OWN CULTURE.
Books:
The Illuminatus Trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson (this is one of those books that I wish I had read years ago, set in the 60's, fact and fiction, druggy, sexy and enlightening! - I'm now a massive fan of RAW) Keepers of Genesis by Robert Bauval and Graham Hancock, Teilhard de Chardin's the Phenomena of Man, Schrodingers What is Life, Aldous Huxley's The Doors of Perception, loads of Alan Watts stuff, The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, The Rubayyat of Omar Khayam, Tolkein, C G Jung, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross by John M Allegro, The I Ching, Terence McKennas The Archaic Revival, also Terence's Invisible Landscape which he wrote with his brother Dennis and contains all the stuff about Timewave Zero...Nietzsche, who created some kind of a monster, lots of novels, The Bible although I 'm not sure who wrote it and why, The Gnostic Gospels and all the other stuff that was left out of the Bible and which you can get free online at sacredtexts.com along with lots of other interesting stuff. I have just started reading Moby Dick so if anyone out there has read it and has anything to share about it or any of the books on my reading list please get in touch. There must be ten thousand other books that I would like read before I die and which clutter up my Amazon wishlist. Putting together a book list on this space called '101 books to read before you die'.
Heroes:
My Children, John Lennon, Robert Anton Wilson, Tim Leary, Carl Jung, King Wen, Terence McKenna, (Terence was an advocate of taking 'heroic' doses of psilocybin containing mushrooms as a tool for exploring and changing our minds, which is necessary as we migrate towards the 'transcendental object at the end of time' or the Eschaton. We have a choice between our current path to doom or an awakening to new and exciting possibilities and potential by using the full on psychedelic trip as a vessel into unexplored inner experiences, to return laden with new and wonderful treasures) Carl Jung, Madam Helena Blavatsky, Gaia, Alan Watts, That wascally wabbit zen-archist Bugs Bunny, Michael Corleone, Captain Hotknives, John M Allegro, anyone who doesn't come pre-programmed by mass media... my maternal grandparents who were a big influence in my childhood, everyone on my friends list, all you brave seekers of truth and illumination wherever you are.
