My close friends and family call me Ronnie.As you may note from my pics I am the eldest of 4 siblings, 3 boys and 1 girl. I was born with Spina Bifida leaving me paralysed from the waist down. But I have not let this stop me.At the tender age of 4 yrs my parents took me to Crotchet Mountain Rehab Center in Greenfield NH. Rather than quit on me and cry they accepted the challenge of having a child with a disiability. Six months later i walked for the first time with leg braces and crutches. This was very self fullfilling for me. Giving me the independence to do for myself what I could in any way I could. Please feel free to visit their website 'www.cmf.org'. You will be glad you did.As for schooling. For grades 1 through 4 I has a home tutor since our schools in Berlin were not accessable. Starting in grade 5 I attended grade school which had a ground floor class being with others my own age.Attending Jr High and High school was quite a challenge in that I climbed 3 flights of stairs each day attending classes with my fellow class mates. This, I must say was quite rewarding. My mates did not treat me any different.In 1971 I attended NHVTC Berlin acquiring an Associates Degree in accounting.Upon graduation I worked part time as a tax professional of H&R Block for 6 years. This was very rewarding. Giving me valuable experience.Beginning in 1980 I opened my own Tax consulting/accounting business 'Ronald Ramsey Business Services' from my home/office. I must say owning one's own business is both a challenge and very rewarding.In 1981 I met and married a lady from Lancs County England whom I had met over amateur Radio.
