Influences: My musical heroes are: Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Jerry Garcia, and Neil Young. I listen to everything – jazz, blues, all kinds of rock from “The King” to King Crimson, Stax/Motown, p-funk, and country/bluegrass of course. Then I try to ignore it all, because as all my heroes have found – the point is to find your own voice.
