Who am I? Let me answer with a quote from one of my favorite movies of all time (The Breakfast Club) "You see us as you want to see us...In the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions." Just who IS Pat? Well, if you choose to define me with simply "what do you do for a living?" then I would answer with a brief resume as follows: Over 20 years experience working for various advertising and media companies in Chicago, including WGN TV, WUSN "US99", Leo Burnett, TMP Worldwide/Monster.com and JTC Advertising. I am currently a freelance writer/editor for various national websites and run a small talent management and promotions agency. Born into the decade of the "peace and love movement" had a powerful impact on my life. The politics, visuals and especially the sights and sounds of 60's music, television and film are deeply rooted in my soul and reflect who I am and where I am going. I am truly a child of the 60's and 70's in every sense of the word. I'm "Old school" and proud of it! If music is the soundtrack of our lives, then my world has been a symphony of radical, life altering rock anthems, blended into a crescendo of gut wrenching, angst-filled lyrics, with the rhythmic assault of heavy rock and punk, and, at times, the concert that is my life suddenly evolves into weepy pop ballads, bubble gum innocence or deep, "Dylanesque" tunes. Yes, I am certainly a blending of many different styles, all expressed with a full range of emotion and heart. I have a deep love for humanity, music, the creative arts, and believe in living life to the fullest and pursuing your passion. .

Great stuff!
