The story began back in 1992 when the five year old Didgebag, became
fascinated by vast, haunting soundscapes, featured throughout a documentary
about aboriginal life in Australia. These sounds came to be the instrument
we know as the didgeridoo. This soon led to the purchase of his first didgeridoo, and still at a young
age, he began learning to play the instrument. Some years later, on a trip to Australia, he was fortunate enough to meet an
aboriginal man by the name of Lyndon, in Queensland.
It was here, that he was able to pick up new styles of playing that affected
his current technique, and enabled him to progress further. It wasn't long before a number of recordings were made with an acquaintance,
and the Didgebag sound began to appear in various live music events across the u.kNow, Didgebag finds himself working with local act, Heavy on the
Ride, performing live in the south wales area, and preparing to record on
their latest demo.
