*We are pleased to announce that Omar Grant has joined EMI Music Publishing as Director, Creative Urban. As Creative Director, Omar is responsible for managing the current roster of songwriters and producers that have been signed out of our East Coast office, expanding the urban east coast market by locating future talent, and developing relationships with clients along the way. Omar is also responsible for helping develop and pitching songs to record labels.
*The Determined 24-year-old, Omar comes to EMI from Music World Entertainment, where he was employed as an A&R/Talent Scout, working with producers and songwriters. Prior to that, he was Road Manager for Destiny’s Child, Beyonce Knowles, and Kelly Rowland working on world tours and promotional events.
*Omar is a graduate of Adelphi University and holds a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing.
