Mr. Dudley recalls that his aunt Brenda’s ever so stimulating style of babysitting was to listen to classic vinyl on the record player. Before TD could take his 1st steps, he was able to select his favorite songs just by seeing the Album cover.Dudley credits his diversity and solid foundation from years of exposure to various genres of music ranging from the classical greats such as Beethoven, Bach and Chopin to the broad range of Funk, Pop and Soul inspiration such as Parliament, Stevie Wonder and all of Berry Gordy’s Motown roster to name a few. It wasn’t long after that Terence would take the reigns and become a writer, composer and composition arranger himself. Throughout his years from grade school to high school young Mr. “MoZart†became proficient at a bevy of instruments including saxophone, drums, guitar, bass, piano and anything else that would emanate a musical note.Dudley decided to take his love of music to new heights. Realizing that his vision of becoming a producer must start with picking up the pen and sitting in front of the ivory, he did just that. His big break came when he wrote a song entitled, “Love Games†for the labels girl group “Sweet Sensation†distributed by Atco/Atlantic Records. Just 1 year later Dudley was signed as a staff producer for First Priority Records, where he produced and remixed songs for beginning artist and now Hip-Hop legend M.C. Lyte as well as Audio 2, Kings of Swing and more.Now with the taste of success, Producer Terence Dudley’s pivotal musical move came when he found himself in cahoots with Sean P Diddy Combs, who selected Dudley’s M.C. Lyte remix of “Stop, Look and Listen†as the primary sample in Mary J. Blige’s Introduction hit, Reminisce. Gaining respect from his peers as a notable producer, Dudley was sought out by the VP of A&R of Motown, Multi Platinum writer, producer, recoding Al B. Sure! 2 write and produce for artist on the historical label. Most notably, Al B!’s talented male quartet, “LADAE†Party 2 Nite, for ABS!’s Absolute/Motown Record Label.Creating great music was inevitable when Dudley partnered with record mogul "Buttnaked" Tim Dawg to produce and remix songs for every artist on the Island Records label. Together, they developed the ability to bring a blend of the right musical / street elements and created the hit song, Tell Me (Bounce Remix) for artist, Dru Hill. His list of credits also includes Mona Lisa, The Isley Brothers, K.C. and Jo Jo, The Lost Boys and Mr. Cheeks, to name a few more....Terrence Dudley’s talent and innovative style lead him to work with the Hip-Hip Icon/ Entrepreneur “50 Cent†and produce the groundbreaking smash, “Ya Life’s On The Line.†The success of this single on “50 Cent’s†Diamond+ CD (Over 10 Million in Sales) sparked the interest of Senior Vice President, Big Jon Platt of EMI Music Publishing and landed Dudley a Co-publishing deal with the largest publishing company in the world.Dudley has garnered tremendous success in the international market place as well. TD scored a Billboard Top 5 international hit with Eternal’s “Don’t You Love Me.†which was also featured in a worldwide Coca-Cola commercial. Composer Terence “MoZart†Dudley currently has a song on the 50 Cent video game, Bulletproof, and K-Ci (from JODECI) titled “Much 2 Soon†feat: Al B. Sure! & Legendary GUY front man Aaron Hall K-Ci’s solo CD is titled "My Book." TD lends his spiritual side to a collaborative effort by co-writing an International heartstring composition titled “Rather Not Hear About It†with R&B Legend Al B. Sure! which addresses the unnoticed hungry youth around the world. In addition TD has produced imaging for various national radio advertisements. The young MoZart’s projects also include scoring music for T.V. and Film.
