FADA KINKY aka Mr Kinky is one of the veteran reggae man from Italy, as he became a reggae lover in the late 1980, inspired by the new “Uprising†album from Bob Marley and The Wailers. By that time he started his never ending research of Jamaican music, artists and vibe dealing at the same time with his personal building of being a conscious man. When in the 1989 he went the first time in Jamaica he started seriously his work with music, getting a lot of records from the island to play over Italy. He performed in hundreds of discos, clubs, parties, festivals, concerts all over Italy and internationally. In Napoli he was in the main reggae events as producer or selecter able to play in front of thousands of people spreading the right vibe. In 1994 he founded the historycal Kinky Reggae Bar in Napoli where he was honoured to guest people like Christopher Lambert, Harvey Keitel, Antonio Albanese, Lina Wertmuller and musicians like Mad Professor, Dennis Alcapone, Dennis Bovell, Ranking Joe, Anthony Johnson, David Rodigan, Luciano, Dawn Penn, Daddy Freddy, Lone Ranger, Kandiman, 99 Posse, Almamegretta, Edoardo Bennato, Lucio Dalla, MEG, Roy Paci and many many more.
Being in the reggae ting for 20 years he is well know and respected as a serious man all over the World.
