Kaya Sound is an unceasingly developing project, first conceived and
brought to life in Rimini in 2003 by FabLion and KingGuide.
FabLion, living in Romagna since 2000, but born and grown in Taranto,
manages to exploit everything he has absorbed and learnt from the
historic sounds of his city, SISMA and ROOTZ INNA MIX. Cooperating
with the cultural association "Good Way", quickly he starts planning
plenty of events related to arts, music and show business on the
beaches and clubs of the "riviera", bringing in different sounds and
artists belonging to the national and international reggae scene.
From meeting KingGuide to creating the KAYA SOUND STUDIO
it all happened in a flash... simply a mic, a mixer, a pc and a lot of
enthusiasm... It all started like this! The studio is put in running
order straight away, becoming more and more important for all the
soundbwoys of the area. After the first recordings, the wish for improving pushes them to take up a tour of jamaican studios. FabLion remains on the
island for a long time and arranges plenty of dubplates sessions with
jamaican singers and djs of all levels, while KingGuide goes back to Rimini where step by step he refines the studio.
In august 2006 two new members joins Kaya Sound: Lollo, a young italo-swiss selecta who has been working long since in the area and Ras Anthony, promoter and fond of roots reggae , who now are both divided between Italy and Jamaica. In 2007, KingGuide records and remixes the
voices of the talented singjay LION D, who's working on his
first creation "KEEP THE FIRE BURNIN", out from the beginning of May.
Everything that has been attained up until now is only the product of
an overwhelming passion for reggae music which is shared by all the

----------------------------------Kaya Sound è un progetto in continua evoluzione, pensato e nato a rimini nel 2003 da FabLion e KingGuide.
FabLion, in romagna dal 2000, ma tarantino verace, fa tesoro di tutto ciò che ha assorbito e imparato dai sounds storici della sua città , SISMA e ROOTZ INNA MIX, e in collaborazione con l’associaziane culturale “Good Wayâ€,dà vita nel giro di pochi anni a numerosi eventi legati ad arte, musica e spettacolo, sulle spiagge e nei club della riviera, coinvolgendo diversi sounds e artisti della scena reggae nazionale e internazionale.
Dall’incontro con KingGuide alla nascita del KAYA SOUND STUDIO il passo è stato veramente breve.....un semplice microfono, un mixer, un computer e tanta voglia di fare.... Tutto è partito cosi!!!!!!
Sin da subito lo studio inizia ad essere operativo, diventando un punto di rifermento per tutti i soundbwoys della zona. Dopo le prime registrazioni cresce immediatamente la voglia di migliorarsi, e da li in poi iniziano i sopraluoghi negli studi jamaicani. FabLion resta sull’isola per lungo tempo ed organizza numerose dubplates session con cantanti e dj jamaicani di ogni livello, KingGuide torna a rimini e perfeziona pian piano lo studio.
Nella agosto 2006 due nuovi membri entrano a far parte di Kaya Sound: Lollo, giovane selecta italosvizzero, già attivo da diverso tempo nella scena romagnola e Ras Anthony, promoter e grande appassionato di roots reggae, entrambi adesso divisi tra l’Italia e la Jamaica.
Nel 2007, KingGuide registra e mixa le voci del talentuoso singjay pesarese LION D, alle prese con il suo primo lavoro “KEEP THE FIRE BURNINâ€, cd in uscita dai primi di maggio.
Tutto quello che si è riuscito a realizzare fino ad ora è solo frutto di una travolgente passione per la reggae music che accomuna tutti i componenti della crew.
