Connie & the Precious Moments

Connie and the Precious Moments formed three years ago when three souls collided one afternoon in a Music Appreciation course at Skycomish Community College . That day Ms. Connie Merlot met her future collaborators Rene and Joyce. Together they forged a new genre in popular music known as “Softronix”, a sonic mélange of smooth jazz, new age healing music, pop-country, and adult contemporary AM radio. As pioneers of this new style, the Precious Moments have touched the hearts, minds, and souls of multitudes of fans spanning many generations. Connie brings not only her lush, honey tones, but also the inner voice of a timeless poetess. She brings her years of experience as a consummate hostess to engage the audience with the air of an old friend. Rene is the classically trained, multi-instrumentalist and musical wizard. Lastly, Joyce is the untrained, yet shamanistic anchor of the group. Her aboriginal approach to music transports the listener to simpler, more spiritualistic times.
