George Trice

George Trice was born raised in the small southern town of Henderson, TN. The youngest of four siblings, George spent his days playing in rundown barns, fishing and swimming in creeks and bringing home stray puppies. In all appearances, George was the typical little boy, that is until he opened his mouth to sing and it was apparent to everyone that George was anything but ordinary or typical.By the age of twelve, George flawlessly and effortlessly, revealed a 5-octave range. But living in a small town, it was unclear as to where George would go with his talent. He began to perform locally in the schools and churches and public events. He became a member of his university singing group and performed around the country. He was selected to perform as a host for the annual Makin’ Music event at Freed Hardeman University and it was perhaps there that he fully realized the impact his music had and the joy it could bring.
In 2003, his pursuit in the music business lead him to the “American Idol" auditions. ..He earned the Judges’ nod of approval and was selected as one of the 32 finalists from more than 75,000 singers nationwide, George was featured on Entertainment Tonight as “Pick to win” and was highlighted in Us Weekly alongside Ruben Studied as “The voices to listen for...” Although, not selected as the “American Idol”, George was not deterred. In 2004, George moved to Los Angeles to pursue his passion to sing and perform. Since his move, he has had the opportunity to meet, travel and perform with many incredible performers. Along with his slow southern drawl and boyish charm, George’s voice is a crowd pleaser. Sean and John Dunsen, Co-Founders of Dunson Twin Music/Frame of Mind Entertainment(www.frameofmindentertainment.com), quickly realized George’s talent and potential and decided to collaborate on a CD project.
Sean and John are renowned songwriters and producers, working with major companies such as EMI, Capital Records, EMI/Latin records and McDonald’s Corp., directly contributing to albums and projects realizing over $30,000,000 in revenue throughout their career. The Dunson Twins have had several Billboard Top Ten hits with sales exceeding 10 million units. They toured nationally as choreographers, songwriters and performers with the late Selena Quintanilla.
Listeners will be pleased with the fruition of efforts brought together by George and FOME. George’s voice is reminiscent of the powerful old school performers and the vitality of new age pop. George’s story is just beginning, a beginning built on a lifetime of hopes and dreams. His full length CD features a variety of styles and is scheduled for release Summer 2007.
