All manmade atrocities ranging from; slavery, female slavery and denigration, and all other forms of social, political, economic injustice, anywhere, practiced by tyrannical patriarchal governing systems and their corporate backers, are direct threats aimed at the social justice, political and economic existence and stability everywhere. - The lack of action and the obvious indifference exhibited by the nations capable of preventing such atrocities and exposing them to stop these well known slaughters will obviously be perceived by the oppressed people as a green light given to the perpetrators and those responsible for many on going human tragedies, the biggest one of which are female slavery, lack of female equality and female denigration.We, the people, are wedged in an inescapable common bond of humanity, a mutual network, tied together, weaved in a fabric of humankind, our lives and our destiny, for better, or for worse. - Whatever affects one, it shall reverberate allover the world and will affect all of us. - It would be a huge mistake and a betrayal of ourselves, and of our loved ones, if we do nothing, thinking these issues does not concern us, the truth is that everything concerns us all, and will affect all of us, and if we do nothing to correct the wrong and mend what is broken, we all are destined to be harmed by the religious barbarism, sooner or later, in one form, or another, remember, there are no escapes. - We should never forget, that the 2 of the most deadliest and destructive Weapons of Mass Destruction are - IGNORANCE - and - APATHY -.The world is a scary and dangerous place today, not because the criminal evildoers and their backers have triumphed, but because good and ordinary people like us, have been deceived and kept in coma, thus we have become ignorant and apathetic. - - Evil and his backers are not mythical they are made right here, on Earth. - - And Evil shall triumph only, when good ethical people do nothing to stop it. - - We, the citizens of Planet Earth should get involved and do what we can, every little help counts.My name is Bahram Maskanian. I am a Persian American man. - A political, social justice, activist, essayist, environmentalist, male-feminist, songwriter, producer, and a poet. - It has been more than 12 years, since early 1995, when I became a fulltime political / human rights activist and aware of alarming reports about the widespread existence of a highly active barbaric and tragic human trafficking and slavery all over the world, most active in Asia, numbering in - 1000(s) per day in - Iran / Persia -, alone. These innocent young victims, sometimes are as young as 7 years old, enslaved for forced prostitution, domestic sex slaves, horse / camel jockey, forced labor, religious sacrifices - murdered for god’s satisfaction, or murdered and butchered for their body parts to be sold in the international organ transplant markets.In the United States alone each year, approximately one (1) out of three (3) of our young girls, and about one (1) out of six (6) of our young boys will be sexually abused by the time they turn eighteen (18) years of age. - Sadly over half (50%) of them will never tell anyone about these embarrassing, soul crushing and life altering sexual molestations. - Each year, In the United States, over 500,000 women are brutally beaten and raped. - The 500,000-rape victims number is the women casualty figure that is reported to the authorities. - This number does not include the so-called date rapes and many other forms of molestations that are never reported. And since only one out of five rape victims are brave enough to report the crime and press charges that would make the true rape victims number in the United States over 2,500,000 women each year.Worldwide over - 14 million - women disappear each year from the face of the Earth. - Worldwide over - 5 million - young women suffer horrific deaths due to forced prostitution diseases, injuries and violence each year. - Domestic violence kills over -18 million - women all over the world. - Millions of newborn female infants are deliberately killed each year in Africa and Asia, which leads to shortage of women thus encouraging the barbaric act of stealing, or buying and enslaving women from other parts of the world. These slaughters are all due to ignorance caused by the lack of real education and barbaric teachings of religion by the power hungry criminal religious mullahs.I began researching the issue and soon found out that not only the tragic problem of human trafficking and slavery exists in - Iran / Persia, but also the criminal mullah's regime is heavily profiting from the sacrifice of defenseless Iranian / Persian children - young women - and men. - Based on my research, and also on the testimony of a few survivors of this heinous practice, I wrote a dramatized screenplay (docudrama) for feature film, entitled: - Shackles - Womankind Enchained -, with the objective of shocking the world while shaming and exposing the criminal bastards involved in this savage practice. - I am doing my best, doing all I can do, humanly and ethically possible to bring this tragic human problem of slavery to the World's attention.As of today, - May 18, 2007, - I have written over - 7389 - letters, along with countless (1000)s of e-mails, to the gatekeepers of the U.S. and European entertainment industry: lawyers, agents, corporate producers, electronic mass media, journalists, the editors of major newspapers, the so-called feminists organizations of all sizes and color, human rights organizations and many more, about slavery and the - Shackles - Womankind Enchained - screenplay, to no avail.I am sure we can all agree that the need to publicly fund our social and political governing system and activities to prevent the current rampant corruption are as realistic and necessary, as the need to also publicly fund our truth-telling enlightening news programming and film production. - By the same token, we can all agree absolutely, that without public oversight, unchecked increase of economic and political power at any level will certainly lead to greedy, criminal and destructive conduct, instigating corruption at all layers of our society.It is a well-known fact that our social, economic and political governing system and our mass media have been bought and paid for and are controlled by the greedy, selfish and corrupt ruling elites. All of whom are under the false assumption that not only they own the world, they also own the people as well, in their eyes we are all slaves with different degrees of freedom. The ruling elites whose attitude towards slavery, human suffering, and war is to make money from it, cover it up and never reveal the truth at all costs.It has become painfully clear that the likes of - Warner Brothers - MGM - Disney - NBC Universal - Sony - Paramount - Miramax - Viacom - Columbia - Twentieth Century Fox - and others like them wouldn't touch this project with a thirty (30) foot pole, let alone put up the money to make this film. These giant nation-less corporations - already in bed with governments - that are profiting from variety of different kinds of slavery would never produce a film like - Shackles -.Those who did bother to read the - Shackles - Womankind Enchained -, screenplay and the movie treatment, almost unanimously made the following interesting, but sad statement below:- - A genuinely heartfelt, truthful and very powerful story, I learned a whole lot from it. It made me cry, made me think and I even laughed. A - controversial and thought provoking - story indeed, but due to today's political climate in the US it would be tad risky to produce - Shackles - Womankind Enchained - screenplay into a feature film. - - They all said.Only through a non-profit, publicly funded production we can set a precedent and gain the ability to freely create an original and uncompromising work of art, reflecting life's realities, without any fear of reprisal and censorship. I am hopeful and enthusiastic that we, the ordinary people, can all come together and make the production of educational, truth-telling and enlightening documentaries and film production such as - Shackles - Womankind Enchained - film possible. - Only through the presentation of such enlightening feature films and documentaries one could shock the world into the realization of the widespread tragic problem of female slavery, caused by the religious mullahs and their corporate backers, to expose and shame the perpetrators publicly by shining the spot light of truth, on those who are shamelessly profiting from human misery and despair, by supporting and encouraging criminal behavior such as slavery all over the world.The question I have been asked frequently is that, - would the public buy tickets to see this film? - The answer is absolutely. - Passion of the Christ -, grossed total of 324 million dollars worldwide. - But the so-called anti Christ film, - The Da Vinci Code -, with all the damnation and bad publicity it received throughout the world, sold over 340 million dollars on the first day of its release. This fact proves that the people of the world are hungry for truth and information. This fact proves that the majority of people know their government and nation-less corporations are in bed together, using religion to enslave the public and to enrich themselves at all costs to humanity and the environment in which we all live.A professional filmmaker wrote to me and along with his well wishes he said:- - I hope you are able to produce your script. You may want to approach some activist actors that have their own production companies about attempting something like this. You could probably shoot a film like this under $10 million in the American Southwest - -.
That means if only one million caring and concerned people donate for one (1) ticket each, we can raise the necessary fund to make this revealing film and put an end to this barbaric practice of human trafficking / slavery. I must emphasize that one of the major benefits of producing and presenting this film to the World would be the recognition of the fact that womankind and mankind are equal and only together as humankind we can solve our countless massive manmade problems we are faced today in order to survive, learn and evolve.I am sure you agree and feel the same, I hope you can find it in your heart to consider donating small sum of ten dollars - $10 - for your advance ticket to help fund the production of - Shackles - Womankind Enchained - film.
