parents divorced when I was an Infant so I was raised in a White World until I retired from the US NAVY in 1996.
in 1998 I met a Cherokee Woman CJ who introduced me to my Elder Cam Mosher. She gave me the Name "go-hu-nv-hi a-ya-wis-gi ka-ga e-do-ha gv-do-di a ga ta na"
which translates to "Winged Warrior Who Walks With Wisdom"
This was translated to Cherokee by a Brother I met on MY SPACE "Cherokee Warrior:"in 2000 I was invited to attend/support the Sun dance in Alberta Canada with the Black Foot Peoples the Sun dance Chief Keith Chiefmoon gave me a name of "Pitoh Kakii"
which translates to "Eagle Wisdom"In 2005 I received the calling to carry on in my Elders moccasins as Elder of the Lodge. And since have been conducting INIPI Ceremonies and assisting/supporting others on their Vision Quests.In 2006 I met Richard Sparrow Eagle in SLC Ut ( we were both with Friends at the VA hospital)
Later I was asked to support 2 Friends at the Medicine Wheel Sun dance in Croydon Ut and discovered that Richard was the Sun dance Chief there.In 2007 I was HONOURED to be asked to tend fire at the MEDICINE WHEEL SUN DANCE. While there I made MANY WONDERFUL Relationships and was WELCOMED into their Community. I look forward to the teachings and continuing those relations with the STANDING BUFFALO Clan and the Lakota traditions.I LOVED MY BABY (82HD She's NOW a '79 El Camino)And now I have been truly blessed by being re-connected With "SNOW OWL" LeAnn As well as Marlena and Jeremiah her children (see Album "US THEN AND NOW" )With Creators Blessing we will reunite in August 09.
