'REAL TIME' NATIVE CINEMA AND PERFORMING ARTS NEWS

About Me

We’re of the belief that there’s never too much information when it comes to learning more about Native performing arts—films, music, television, theatre and multi-media. The magazines, radio shows, cable programs, and web sites that have started in recent years are evidence of the enthusiastic interest in this genre. Our mission is to cultivate an interest in Native performing arts by featuring North America’s most innovative Indigenous filmmakers, musicians, performers and media entrepreneurs. This is done by solid reporting and collaborating with others; simply stated—getting the word out. There’s so much to celebrate that has hardly been touched on. Which is why we are here. NativeVue provides “real-time” conversation about movies and television programs, those in production, and upcoming film festivals and concerts. We profile performers and the creative folks behind the scenes, and include candid discussions of why it’s important. We can’t do it all, and will never assume so. But with our impressive group of contributors and advisors, rest assured we’ll be trying our best to provide accurate, interesting, and yes, entertaining news and commentary.
