Life Is Perfect is Nef Jones and Jimi K Bones first complete collaboration as JonesBones.
The album was produced by engineer and friend Brian McGee (Rolling Stones, Cyndi Lauper, Aerosmith). The CD has flavors ranging from artists like Liz Phair, Ramones, Green Day, early Alanis Morissette, Sheryl Crow and of course a whole lot of Nef and Jimi.
Nef is the featured talent in a National TV commercial for Ballys Fitness Clubs that began airing in January 06 on many channels, including MTV. She has also appeared
in a nationally seen Blockbuster TV commercial in summer 05 and was featured in the film documentary, Electric Purgatory, with music legends Fishbone, Vernon Reid, Bad Brains and Living Colour. Nef has appeared on VH-1, was a top 50 finalist in the American Music Awards' New Music Award contest, has performed at Lilith Fair, was nominated for
Best Band of the Year by San Francisco Weekly, and opened up for Blondie at the Gibson/ShowRoom.
