Friday 9th - 15th November
As university semester comes to an end for some of us that means a lot of things: no more coffee rings on important papers, no more sleeping ..boards, no more 8am exams and no more classes. It also means more free time to go swimming and go out , more concerns about jobs over summer and more beer!
For others of us it means more pedestrian traffic to negotiate on your way of Albert or George Streets. But it also means no more taxis (for getting one home after a random mid-week drink has been so much easier in these three-or-so weeks of respite that the uni crowd call SWATVac ).
But with the end of uni semester comes some good things. There is always a host of exhibitions , fashion shows, film screenings and performanc . Feast your fetish for the fresh! Get along to some of these events; for the artwork, for the culture (and secretly for the free booze).
