I like playing my keyboard, I really love playing piano I just move too often to have one. I don't care what anyone has to say about us ivory ticklers...we're awesome and we're happy. Get over it! I also love to play my bass (which I have named Connor) with my friend's random bands...the louder and more arrogant sounding the band the better!
Douglas Adams. Anton Chekov. Anastasia Romonov. Frank Lloyd Wright (to give him the talking to he deserved). Milton. Hemmingway. Aristotle. Ya Mum. American Express. Louis XVI and XVII. A productive and happy relationship. James May (yes, yes really! Yes, even more than Jeremy Clarkson. May hands down.) The inventor of headbands, Noel and Liam Gallagher (I'd like to meet their mum even more!), someone with a time machine, Dr Who (not any of the latter incarnations need apply),Phil's ice addiction, Karl Marx's mistress that lived with Karl, Karl's wife and Karl's chidren while he and Engles were writing The Manifesto (in England)...she could teach me some stress managment skills. Lillian Roxon, Jim Morrison, James Brown, Billie Holiday, the person that inspired Stinkfist by TOOL, Nero, Cleopatra, anyone with a fringe that looks good (That's anyone with a fringe. Whoo!), well, I could go on for the rest of my life in all honesty there must be something about everyone that I would like to meet.
Music that is played by real people, with real instruments, in real time, in real life at a real pub. My i-pod is rocken to...if only I knew how it worked.
I will tell you something that I don't tell everyone, and that is that I like Jazz and Funk. It's true, I know I'm all rock pig with my bass, grungy hair, boho scalf/beanie combo, homeless look and tatts, it just happens, I was born this way you know. My family have staged several interventions whereby they try to stop me from wearing cardigans in my house and dancing to James Brown and George Clinton. It's an illness with no cure people. I'm a fighter, but I'm not sure I'll ever rid the disease. Plus every Friday night I'm at the Cape, Retreat, Livid or the Laundry dancing like a freaking eejit, also a side effect of this disease. Overwhelming desire to do jazz hands....
You Are an Indie Rocker!
You are in it for the love of the music...
And you couldn't care less about being signed by a big label.
You're all about loving and supporting music - not commercial success.
You may not have the fame and glory, but you have complete control of your career.
What Kind of Rocker Are You?

It's well worth it.
Haven't been in any.
I try to avoid it. Like the plauge. Television inspires hate crimes. We should all study history, nothing bad would happen then.
I like most books. Dan Brown is on my list of people who have knee caps I would like to break...don't fire me up. My favorite book is War and Peace but I run the risk of serious disfigurement of my spine if I continue to carry that around. I also really like self-help books. I commit great passages of quotes like "a happy person is someone who makes the choice that thousands wouldn't" to my memory only to use at really dumb times when it would be more helpful if I said nothing, nothing at all.
Nurses, bartenders, waitstaff, kitchen hands, dishpigs. It's along way to the top when you're a student (with a decade or so of study to go to be an architect) and if you've ever been any of those things you are awesome. Like me. You could include the people I want to meet here as well...
