Genesis began her singing career at the age of seven (7) years old in the mariachi music genre. Now, at the age of eleven (11), she has become an accomplished mariachi singer and an amazing English pop vocalist. She has captured the admiration of many fans at events where she had the privilege of performing. These events include County Fairs, private events and television programs, such as her recent participation in Univision's International tv show "Sabado Gigante". Genesis also made her acting debut in a supporting role with actors Keanu Reeves (matrix), Forest Whitaker (Last King of Scottland) and Chris Evans (Fantastic 4) in the feature film "Street Kings", which was released to theatres on April 11, 2008 and is now available on DVD. Genesis continues to prepare herself vocally and as an actress, with the aspiration of having new opportunities in films, commercials and in the music industry. Genesis is thankful for the many blessings God has given her on a personal level, as well as an artist. She also thanks her instructors at SCHOOL OF POP (GREG HIMMELSTEIN, RON HARRIS, ANTHONY MAZZA, DREW LANE, BILLY BLANKS JR., to name a few), private vocal coaches JONATHAN GEORGE and MELINDA SALCIDO, as well as her friends and family for the wonderful support with her artistic endeavors. With great joy we share that Genesis has begun taking her baby steps into Hollywood, as she made her debut in a short scene of the feature film "STREET KINGS". The film was released to theatres on APRIL 11, 2008, and is currently now available on DVD. Check it out on www.IMDB.com. Way to go, Genesis!
