Genesis Codina is a 10 year old young lady with huge talent. She began singing at the age of 7 years old in the mariachi music genre at DHP Nuestra Cultura, school of Music. Soon after, she began performing at various community events and quickly earned the audience's appreciation. Genesis now has a recorded album entitled "Mis Primeras Canciones" which features 10 beautiful mariachi music songs. Despite the fact that she continues to perform in spanish, Genesis has also made a transition to english pop music. She is now taking her vocal lessons with coach Jonathan George of JJPZ. Genesis continues to surprise everyone with her talent, as she sings with much dedication. Genesis is also beginning her career as an actress. Just recently she released the news of her participation in the movie "The Night Watchman", which will be out in theatres sometime in 2008. Genesis is quite excited since this film was her first opportunity and the cast is formed by actors such as Keanu Reeves, Forest Whitaker and Chris Evans, to mention a few. Genesis is a bright little star as a singer and an actress. She has earned the respect and admiration of many and this page is just a small token of that.
