Katarina is a talented singer/actress/dancer/song writer. Who has been performing and writing music for six years. She is currently working on her album. She performed at various talent shows and local venues: The Steve Harvey Show in the El Rey Theater, The Celebrity Center in Hollywood, The NAAM show at The Anaheim Convention Center, Toys for Tots drives, Radio Aztlan Music Festival, Orange Blossom Festival, Burbank town center, Crenshaw Baldwin Hills Mall, Pharaohs Lost Kingdom water and theme park. She has also opened up for Brenton Wood, The Original Low Riders, Rocky Padilla, Tierra and Steve Salas. She has performed for many community centers throughout the Inland Empire & sings the National Anthem for sports events like championship boxing.
Katarina has also appeared on Fox 11 (the topic Voco Pro/ Katarina vs. American Idol. Hispanic Lifestyle (Cable show), The Mr. Duran Show (Cable show), LA X-LARGE (TV show), LATV LIVE, Crossing the tracks (Cable Show), Also her music is aired on KVCR 88.3 fm. She is currently scheduled to appear on A Little Latin music (Cable show).
She is currently touring school districts in California. Whose agenda is spreading the word through music about success through education and against drugs and violence. She has toured Moreno valley, Compton, Lynwood, Marina Del Rey, Rialto, Chino, Fontana, San Bernadino, Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario school districts. Katarina has also performed at Graduations and Proms. She is a G.A.T.E. student and exceeds strait A's. She has a large fan base and sells her Cds online & at events. She is very outgoing with her fans and autographs every child to adults cd until there is no one else in line.
Katarina also sings in Spanish and tours with Banda Veinto de Oro. The majority of these performances are at clubs. In meeting new people along the way Katarina has been privileged to be coached by writer, producer Alex Cantrall who has done projects for JoJo, Cisco, Mya, 3LW, Houston, Lindsay Lohan, Toni Braxton Nick Lachey and Fantasia. Also Katarina has been coached by Ron Harris. Mr. Harris produced Christina Aguileras first and best selling record Genie in a Bottle. Mr. Harris currently took Katarina to Ron Fair who was looking for young artist to record on an artist named Joanna. Although Katarinas voice is very mature. It was a challenge for her to accommodate her voice to sound very young. But yet showed she is versatile. Katarina recorded the chorus with others. Katarina has been singing since the age of 4. Her influences include Donna Summer, Whitney Housten, Prince, Tina Turner, Mariah Carey,Sam Cooke, Oddis Redding, Al Green, Brenton Wood, Selena, and Beyonce Knowles. Katarina is a very versatile singer who enjoys singing different genres of music including R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, Blues, Oldies & Spanish music. She also performs for charity events like the Cancer foundation.
Her strengths include a voice so big that it is reminiscent of a young Christina Aguilera/Selena who also possessed a voice far beyond their years at a young age. Her voice can be summed up in two words; Powerful and Phenomenal and it only gets more amazing with time.
