Valerie is currently studying for her CHSPE's and SAT's and is planning to attend Cal Arts majoring in voice and drama as soon as she graduates. Valerie will be starring in a major theatre production of Oliver as NANCY!
Hispanic/English Valerie K. Aguilar has been working since a young age to be an all around performer. She is known to many as a hard-working and dedicated young woman, and is ambitious in her career as a singer, actress, songwriter, and dancer. Valerie began her career as a singer at the age of five, performing in local talent shows and venues, and starred in several local theatre productions, until moving to Los Angeles and enrolling in Hollywood Pop Academy with the training of Producer/Songwriter Alex Cantrell, Vocal Coach Billy Purnell, and many more. She later went to train at School of Pop, and Hollywood Launch, and has performed several times at the Kodak Theatre, City Walk, and BB Kings. Recently she starred as Wendy Darling in a major theatre production of Peter Pan, and is now starring in Oliver as Nancy. Valerie has been dancing since the age of four and is currently training in Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip-hop with RAGE entertainment complex. She is signed by Superior Talent Agency and is currently auditioning for film and TV projects, as well as recording her debut album. Valerie is currently training with Hollywood Launched (Season 2), and trains with actor Peter Story, vocal coaches Billy Purnell and Francisca, dance choreographer Shane Sparks(So you think you can Dance, You Got Served) and Tiffany Burton, and with numerous boot camp training programs. She was selected to perform on Carnival Cruise Lines to Cabo this summer, and plans to perform again in 2008 as a dancer and vocalist. Valerie also writes all her songs, has (2) British accents, and is training in Spanish for her acting and singing career. She is confident her dreams and ambitions will soon become a reality.
