MANUEL AYALAManuel Ayala was born on October 31, 1995 in the city of Santa Ana California where he lives with his parents, his two brothers and a sister. He is currently 11 years of age. Manuel started singing at family birthday parties when he was six years old. It was at the encouragement of friends and relatives that his mother Angie, decided to nurture his musical talents. At the age of 9, he began his vocal and guitar training instruction at the “Rhythmo Mariachi Kids School” in the city of Anaheim California. He attends “El Sol Science & Arts Academy” were he is taking classical guitar & musical drama. During his short but exciting career Manuel has had the opportunity to perform at various community events where his powerful voice and singing style has surely been able to capture the audience’s attention and admiration. Manuel is very proud of his Mexican heritage and has a true passion for Mariachi Music. He is also proud to be part of Mariachi “Puño de Oro” A youth mariachi group based in the city or Anaheim under the direction of Maestro Gabriel B. Zavala. Manuel wants to pursue a singing career with an emphasis in the Ranchera Folk genre.Following is a description of the most important functions and events in which Manuel has participated:April 6, 2005: Manuel participated with Mariachi “Puño de Oro” in the Mc Donald’s Mariachi Juvenil Contest were they won 3rd. place.April 24, 2005: Participated in the Tucson International Mariachi Festival Conference and Spectacular Concert in the City of Tucson Arizona.May 1st 2005: won 3rd place in the “Kellogg’s little stars” singing contest in Los Angeles.January 2006: Won first place in the “El Show de Don Cheto” a TV singing program in Burbank, California.April 15, 2006: He was cast as “Danny Zucko” in the musical play “Grease” and gained outstanding recognition.June 22, 2006: He performed in the “El Sol Science & Arts Academy” talent show in which he won first place.September 9, 2006: Performed as a prodigy child singer in the first Anaheim Mariachi Festival in the city of Anaheim California, sharing the stage with Mariachi Divas, Mariachi Imperial and Mariachi Anacatlán.September 10, 2006: Won first place in the “Daniel’s Festival de Niños” singing contest held in the City of Anaheim California.January 1, 2007: Manuel recorded two songs “Cielo Rojo” and “Que Chulada de Mujer” in the first “Rhythmo Mariachi Kids CD”March 11, 2007: Won 2nd place among more than 20 contestants in the “Estrellitas Infantiles” Talent Contest in the prestigious Celebrity Centre International in Hollywood.His producer is currently preparing new material for a new CD were he will be recording 10 songs. Manuel enjoys being recognized for his talent and sees himself performing as a professional singer in Hollywood in the near future; his dream is to perform with Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan. He gives thanks to God for his life, for his talent, for his family and friends and he thanks all his fans for their wonderful support in all his artistic endeavors.
