As Valentin Del Castillo started having lessons at his home, other neighborhood children came to Valentin Del Castillo to ask him to teach them too. Valentin Del Castillo welcomed all who were willing to learn, regardless of their skills or abilities.Most of the members of Mariachi Los Toritos had never played Mariachi Music, and some had no music training. Starting from scratch, Valentin Del Castillo began to teach them to play their instruments, and Mariachi Music. Valentin Del Castilloa Mariachi who can play Violin, Trumpet, Guitar, Vihuela, and Guitarronrecognized the talent in these young individuals, and decided to form a youth Mariachi group to display that talent, and to share their music with others. Practicing once a week, Valentin Del Castillo taught them the songs of the Mariachi. But, he taught them more than just the notes and music; Valentin Del Castillo instilled in them to have pride for the music, as well as the Mexican Culture.During the year since Mariachi Los Toritos was formed, they have been invited to play at many functions, including weddings, quincenieras, parades, parties, graduations, and civic events. Mariachi Los Toritos counts among their proudest moments being extended the privilege of playing their music for the men and women of the Armed Services. Mariachi Los Toritos has performed at parties for soldiers departing to Iraq, and returning from Iraq, including playing as a soldier returning home from service in Iraq disembarked from the plane.Mariachi Los Toritos feel honored to be here tonight, and wish to express their sincere appreciation to their hosts for this invitation, which we consider a great compliment. This Mariachi Group is comprised mostly of children ranging in age from ten (10) to seventeen (17) years of age.MARIACHIJUVENIL INTERNATIONAL. This Mariachi Group iscomprised of older children already attending high school, ranging in age from fifteen (15) to seventeen (17) years of age.MARIACHI ISAI.
