About Me

•Founded in 1966, Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) is the oldest and largest childrens' and family nonprofit literacy organization in the United States. RIF provides 4.5 million children with 16 million new, free books and literacy resources each year.•Brooklyn Public Library provides over 138,000 free RIF books to Brooklyn’s babies, children and teens annually. RIF is a weekly program offered in every branch library in Brooklyn.
