REP. JIM SENSENBRENNER (R) WI - Voted for the Patriot Act. Voted for the Military Commissions Act which eliminates habeas corpus for all Americans. Authored the Real ID Act. (To get it passed, he attached it as a rider on an emergency supplemental bill for Defense, the Global War on Terror and Tsunami Relief.) He believes in criminal prosecution of broadcasters and cable operators who violate FCC decency standards. He successfully blocked passage of the Animal Fighting Prohibition Act which makes animal fighting for sport illegal. Sensenbrenner was the top-ranking House member in terms of travel costs paid by private interests from 2001 to mid-2005. This guy is the biggest crook you'll ever find! The big money lobbyist groups have him in their back pocket. THIS GUY IS EVIL IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD! HE MUST BE REMOVED!!!!

REP. MIKE PENCE (R) IN - Wearing a bullet-proof vest with 100 heavily armed soldiers surrounding him on the ground and by helicopter, he described Baghdad "like a normal outdoor market in Indiana in the summertime." LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
REP. MARK SOUDER (R) IN - In addition to voting for the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act and the war in Iraq, he WAS the chairman of the House Government Reform Subcommittee on Criminal Justice, Drug Policy and Human Resources. This was the committee that had oversight on the Drug Czar's office. This moron wrote blank checks to the ONDCP whenever they wanted more money to continue their failed "War on Drugs." He authored the Drug-Free Student Loan amendment which strips college students of financial aid if they were ever convicted of a drug offense. The law has thus far affected more than 175,000 students, including 9,000 Indiana students! He's also a strong opponent of medical marijuana. He stuck his nose into the Gonzales vs. Raich federal case and filed an amicus brief IN SUPPORT of the federal gov't to prosecute medical marijuana patients. The Supreme Court sided with him and other dickheads in Congress. Raich's doctor has testified that marijuana is the only treatment that will ease her pain. Why does Indiana keep electing this fuckhole?!?!?!?!? He's just another anti-marijuana propagandist, most likely due to his religion. Separation of church and state, motherfucker!!!
GOVERNOR HALEY BARBOUR (R) MS - He had a lobbying firm before his entry into politics. Barbour's two partners had formerly worked for the George H.W. Bush administration. In 2001, it was named the most powerful firm in America by Fortune magazine. The firm has made millions of dollars lobbying on behalf of the tobacco industry. In 2006, Barbour VETOED a bill that would have lowered grocery taxes in Mississippi, while simultaneously raising tobacco taxes. I think it's obvious that Barbour is only in politics to take care of the tobacco industry. Oh by the way, he's been known to make racist comments, too.
REP. BRAD ELLSWORTH (D) IN - Says he's a Democrat but votes like a conservative Republican. He once returned a donation from the Marijuana Policy Project! Makes you wonder which donations he kept?!
GOVERNOR DONALD CARCIERI (R) RI - In 2005, he VETOED a state bill legalizing medical marijuana. Fortunately, lawmakers overrode his veto by a large margin. I've heard that a bill to improve the existing medical marijuana law might be vetoed again by Carcieri! Vote this asshole out!!!!! He has no idea what compassion is about....
REP. ILEANA ROS-LEHTINEN (R) FL - She appeared on a British documentary saying, "I welcome the opportunity of having anyone assassinate Fidel Castro and any leader who is oppressing the people." But THEN she claimed that the filmmakers spliced together various clips to get the sound bite and she was misquoted. The director proved she was lying when he showed the unedited tapes which show her making the comments, not once but TWICE! Lehtinen resides on the House Foreign Affairs Committee where she nauseatingly praised the 911 Commission Report. By the way, her Congressional campaign manager was none other than Jeb Bush. She's been in office since 1989!! She's a corrupt liar! Time for her to go!
REP. KATHERINE HARRIS (R) FL - CORRUPT CORRUPT CORRUPT!! Has ties to the Bush family and the Florida voter fraud in the 2000 election. She also praised the 911 Commission Report. This rich bitch was voted OUT OF OFFICE IN 2006!!! Way to go Florida! Don't let her back in!
SENATOR JOHN WARNER (R) VA-"Section 1076 of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007 changed the name of the key provision in the statute book from Insurrection Act to Enforcement of the Laws to Restore Public Order Act. The Insurrection Act of 1807 stated that the president could deploy troops within the United States ONLY “to suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy.†THE NEW LAW EXPANDS THE LIST TO INCLUDE “NATURAL DISASTER, EPIDEMIC, OR OTHER SERIOUS PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY, TERRORIST ATTACK OR INCIDENT, OR OTHER CONDITIONâ€â€”and such “condition†is not defined or limited." REP. RODNEY P. FRELINGHUYSEN (R) NJ - In battling medical marijuana, claimed that "no sound scientific studies" support the medical use of marijuana. "This amendment does not address the problem of marijuana abuse and possibly makes it worse by sending the message to young people that there can be health benefits from smoking marijuana." Really, Rod?? Are you really gonna use the children as an excuse? Aren't we past that by now? And "no scientific studies" makes me chuckle.
REP. DAVE WELDON (R) FL - "First of all, [marijuana] does cause cancer. I have seen it...[M]ost of the people who want to use [medical marijuana] want to get high." Causes cancer?!?!?!?!?!? BIG BOLD LIE! GET HIS ASS OUTTA HERE!!!! Oh, and he also stuck his nose into the Terry Schiavo case by introducing legislation to force review of the case by the federal government.
REP. GEORGE MILLER (D) CA - George Miller, Chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, prevented a vote on an amendment that would've reinstated financial aid eligibility for students convicted of a drug offense. As it stands now, any student caught with even one marijuana joint can be stripped of their financial aid! This asshole has been in congress since 1975!! GET THIS COWARD OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Statement from Republican Presidential Candidate JOHN MCCAIN on voting for the Military Commisions Act of 2006 which REMOVED THE RIGHT OF HABEAS CORPUS FOR ANYONE IN AMERICA under the guise of fighting the War on Terror:
"Simply put, this legislation ensures that we respect our obligations under Geneva, recognizes the President’s constitutional authority to interpret treaties, and brings accountability and transparency to the process of interpretation by ensuring that the executive’s interpretation is made public. I would note that there has been opposition to this legislation from some quarters, including the New York Times editorial page. Without getting into a point-by-point rebuttal here on the floor, I would simply say that I have been reading the Congressional Record trying to find the bill that page so vociferously denounced. The hyperbolic attack is aimed not at any bill this body is today debating, nor even at the Administration’s original position. I can only presume that some would prefer that Congress simply ignore the Hamdan decision, and pass no legislation at all. That, I suggest to my colleagues, would be a travesty. "
