Apart from the office work, I look after the bookings and promotion for Dublin-based outfit, TRIP HAZARD. Their new Single, 'The Next Life' is the first release from their upcoming second album and is available from Tower Records and for download at www.downloadmusic.com. I was a project manager for St Patrick's Festival this year working on a programme at Guinness Storehouse on St Patrick's morning....From October to January I took on the role of Music Manager at the historic Slattery’s, Capel Street booking, co-ordinating and overseeing all gigs and events which took place....Last year I ran a weekly gig night at the Dice Bar in Smithfield called 'Kubic Music' which featured acts as diverse as Nicaraguan guitarists, Cuban congo players, contemporary male vocal groups plus full bands and solo artists. I also co-ordinated a benefit gig at Whelan’s headlined by Rats of the Shining Path (REPUBLIC OF LOOSE side-project).
