Dave Conway

About Me

Ex-Trip Hazard frontman (see myspace/triphazardinc) Dave Conway, releases his debut solo album, Highs and Hellos, aided and abetted by a Trippie or two, as well as a chorus of fine musicians, including Q, Aidan Pierce, Robbie Stanley, Andrew Bass and Dave Horner, to name just, well 5 actually.Recorded as a Tuesday Night Music Club kinda project, none of the musicians heard any of the songs before being locked into the recording room to play their little hearts out. And what a job they did; the album being as fine a rock outing as has been heard in recent years. It will be released in Ireland in July, and a night of celebration in Whelans on July 9th, with an international release date tbc.The Dave Conway Band features Robbie Stanley on Bass and Jean-Philippe Morer on Drums; as well as the Dublin date, there will be a small nationwide tour as well as dates in London and Paris. Stay tuned! INDUSTRY: For further information on Dave contact Christine at [email protected]; for live bookings contact JP at the Isotope Agency [email protected]

Tuscan Thoughts

Here there is nothing to do. What bliss! Nothing to do&. There's really no such thing of course; there's always something to do. Nothing to distract you, that's better. No tv, no radio, no newspapers,...

The Post-Gig Blues (apres Whelans July ’08)

Anyone who plays in an unheralded band knows the feeling; you play your 'big gig', everyone says they'll be there, half don't turn up. You didn't get the publicity you'd hope for, so very few neutrals...
