After releasing 'Beyond The Haze' the flying Jazz, Funk, Samba epic featuring Rhodes, Flute and soaring vocals on Snowboys Hi-Hat volume 1 LP, and provided various soundtracks for Italian T.V, a full length album is about to emerge courtesy of Freestyle Records London. The Root Source gravitate to numerous genres including, Deep Jazz, Funk, Soul, Samba, Early Fusion, but to completly pigeon-hole would be to limit the listening experience. The album goes from 4 min raw Funk scorchers to 14 min journeying epics striking the fine balance between head, heart and feet music. With Hammond Organ, Rhodes, Clavinet, Flute, Sax, Guitar, Percussion, Drums, Double and Electric Bass and Conch Shells they serve up wholesome musical voyages of original character, vitality and sincerity! And in a world of ever increasing plastic, half-baked, watered down portions, The Root Source are a welcome journey to be embarked upon! Hop aboard!"Anyone who wants to get in touch with us who isnt a myspace member please email: [email protected] Root Source Live At The Jazz Cafe London
