I have had one great mentor in my life, she taught me important things about life, love, relationships, honesty and integrity, and most of all about faith in God. However, she was taken from this earth way too early and after over 20 years of friendship it was a loss of epic proportions.
My husband is someone who I respect and am very proud of; at the age of 40 he made a huge decision, sold his successful business, sold our home, and went back to school. It has been a long, hard road, but he never gave up his goal of being a doctor. This journey began in 1995, and he graduated from medical school in 2006!
