Ascron

Onwards - to an uncharted destination...!!

About Me

Skorn gathered first experiences in producing music with his now abandoned grind/BM-project "Karasu" and later as the shouter of "C*nt for 29", a humorous grind band which came to attention on account of top rankings in the weekly mp3.de-charts (sigh, long ago...).
Graneth founded the hardheaded but regionally very popular "Black Speed Metal Solo Project" Dhornath about 2 years ago - if you want to know more, check the band's profile in our Friendlist. Furthermore, recently he attempted at composing classical music, which mainly resulted in his role of composing all string parts in Ascron's songs.
Being friends for many years, having a similar taste in music and motivation to rock, grind, or whatever, it was merely a matter of time until this project was started. All recordings and mixings took place in the Contamedia Studio in Halle, led by Graneth's brother - whom we thank and salute at this point!
That's quite all about it, if there are questions or feedback of any kind, feel free to drop a comment or send us a PM.
Stay tvned for what is yet to be unleashed - thanks for your interest!
Best Regards from Germany!

My Interests

Music:

Band Members:
Graneth // Vocals, all virtual instruments, lyrics, mixing, mastering

Skorn // Guitars, bass, lyrics
Influences: Since we both have different functions in the band, our influences differ, too.
Regarding only the music, thus blinding out the lyrics and everything else, names to be mentioned are Immortal, Dimmu Borgir and Dark Fortress... No affront, guys! We do not dare to claim we sound like you, but we are trying. The string-accompanied parts definitely have an extremely Dhornathish touch.
Sounds Like: Although we do have several examples we want to stick to, there is no real "sound alike". It is even hard to define which genre fits our music - let's say it's Black Metal with Death Metal influences.
Record Label: unsigned
Type of Label: None
