Attrition was formed in late 2007 in Gummersbach, Germany. After the old band of guitarist Fabian and vocalist Till broke up (they had almost two great years full of fuckin' Heavy Metal and played several gigs around their hometown), both wanted to go on with their passion and they started to search for the missing musicians. At first Peter joined the group, who is a great drummer for years now and tortured the drums in two mentionable bands before. After that the guys found Tim, who already experienced the pleasure of playing Metal in front of audience in a cover band. He became their new second guitarist. Unfortunately Attrition is still in search for a bassist, by the way.
However, the four guys aged 17 started to play together and soon saw that they had a musical future. After covering a lot of bands to define their style of playing metal, they began to write their own songs. Attrition still covers though.
The band's next aims after finding a bassist who fits to Attrition is to write more own stuff, play some gigs and to record a demo someday.
