Influences: Yes, this page is run by me. I'm not going to pretend that some yes-man is doing it for me- anyone that knows me understands that I don't usually hang around with any of those. I'm doing this so that all of you that have been asking to hear rare recordings of mine can actually access them instead of waiting on me to do something about it or mail you something. I'm too lazy to go to the post office.
Aside from the obvious membership in Exhorder and Floodgate, I also had a band called Jones's Lounge and co-wrote a song with Joey Jordison of Slipknot for the Roadrunner United All Star Sessions. The song is Constitution Down and Joey wrote the music with me in mind, and I just did what I do to wrap it up. Lots of great musicians played on that- Rob Barrett, Andy LaRoque, Steve Digiorgio, James Murphy, and Matt DeVries. I hope I didn't leave anyone out.
Jones's Lounge was started by Dax Thieler and after he and Jim Bower recorded the songs with Dave Fortman, he talked me into ending my "retirement" and we made a pretty awesome CD called "Jones's Lounge". Eventually my brother Kevin Thomas and Tommy Buckley of Soilent Green joined and we gigged a little.
Next up- Pitts vs. Preps! Awesome riffs and shrieking vocals that are not for the timid. We're currently writing a new album.
Finally, I joined Alabama Thunderpussy last year and we're about to release an album through Relapse Records with a full-on tour to support it. All of this and a family man to boot. Thanks for all of the support and interest- my goal is to force metal back into society, and you guys are helping. Let's take our country back...KT
